First Communion

Holy Communion instruction is offered each year in January or one-on-one with a pastor. The instruction is geared for third graders and older children. It is intended to be a preparation for First Communion as well as a time of learning for those who have already begun to receive the sacrament. All the baptized are welcomed to the table of holy communion, and the decision regarding when a child is ready to receive holy communion is a family one that can be made in consultation with the pastors.
