“God’s love is for everybody” - signed Jesus

Even though Jesus was a devoted Jew who practiced his faith, he spent just as much of his time with people who were not devoted and who'd been outsiders to faith. He was criticized by the leaders of his faith community for eating with tax collectors and sinners. This weekend's story is about Jesus spending time with people labelled as outsiders. These stories about Jesus testify that God is interested in everybody- the insiders, the outsiders and everybody in between those two poles. God wants everybody, period. What's energizing about our faith life with Jesus as our leader is that we are called into this same way of faith. We can live out our lives with the message that God's love is for everybody! Join us at worship to spend more time with this incredible story about how God's love enlivens you and our whole world.
