Voces de la Frontera (VDLF) is a membership-based community organization led by low-wage workers, immigrants and youth. Its mission is to protect and expand civil rights and workers’ rights through leadership development, community organizing and empowerment. VDLF strives to create a world where all people live free of poverty and discrimination. April Moreno is the Community Organizer for VDLF chapter in Madison. April is a DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipient and daughter of immigrant parents. She was brought to this country when she was five, and has lived most of her life in Sheboygan, WI.
