Our Moms Groups are small groups composed of mothers of children ages birth to 18. These groups meet once monthly during the school year (Sept-May) and are very informal.
If you’re in the age range of 20 to 40 (roughly speaking), and would like to get together for fun and fellowship, this could be the group for you!

Team members assist individuals and families cope with various nonmedical needs such as:
Between services on Sundays, members volunteer to provide coffee, that staple drink of Lutheran churches, and treats in our Gathering Space. The treats are nice, the fellowship is priceless!
The Midvale Knitting Group meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the church library. All are invited to enjoy fellowship with other knitters. Beginners welcome!
Midvale Reader’s Group is made up of individuals interested in reading one book a month and gathering with others to discuss it.
On the second Saturday of each month from March through November, we gather for a potluck supper in Fellowship Hall after the 5 p.m. worship service.
Seniors with Spirit is an activity for those over fifty that combines a light lunchtime meal with a short presentation or program of special interest to seniors.
The Midvale Softball team is a highly trained, semi-pro, well-oiled machine---NOT!! Our team is made up of us, members who come as they are to play and have fun. We need lots of players of any skill level and we need lots of cheering spectators.
Midvale Community Lutheran Church, in conjunction with the Art & Worship Environment Committee, is soliciting proposals from individual artists to create a work of art to add to the church’s art collection.
